Workflow
Browser audit process
ConsentProbe opens public storefronts in a real browser and records network requests, cookie writes, and banner clicks.
Pages opened
Each scenario opens the URL you submit. A same-origin scan may also open a linked product, cart, privacy, or cookie page within the page and time limit. Checkout can stay out of scope when it uses another host or needs a filled cart.
Theme, app embed, and web pixel behavior is recorded from requests the browser can see. This audit is not a Shopify app and does not modify the store. This is a technical record, not legal advice.
01
Select an audit scope
Choose Shopify baseline, GDPR/EU, or CCPA/CPRA + GPC depending on your target market and review priorities.
02
Run browser scenarios
Automated browser sessions load the page, apply region and privacy signals, interact with the CMP, and capture cookies, requests, scripts, and screenshots.
03
Check detection rules
The risk engine checks observed behavior against rules to highlight potential compliance risks and third-party tracking scripts.
04
Compile the regional report
Regional reports organize findings into prioritized remediation roadmaps, owner assignments, and retest instructions grounded in stored evidence.
